Pars Tailor

This hostel was booked on a whim, as it was super central and a short walk from Universitat metro stop where I would be arriving to.

I arrived here with no expectations or idea of what it would be like, sometimes the best way.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised at it’s quirky interior, if the name didn’t give it away, the theme is of an old tailors and there are cute accessories and furniture everywhere.

There is also Pars Teatro, located near Parallel area on Carrer d'Albareda, 12, Sants-Montjuïc, 08004 Barcelona, Spain, and no surprise, the theme is that of a theatre,

I am yet to try this location but I would LOVE too. If I do, I will give you the low down soon.

Big Ideas,

Pars Tailor is located on Carrer de Sepúlveda, with an Aldi supermarket close by, always handy.

On entering there is a reception area with a desk where you’ll be greeted by the lovely staff, all helpful and friendly. If you arrive early you’ll be able to leave your luggage in the storage room or relax in the dining room and kitchen area, which is a large space, filled with comfy sofas and tables to eat your food at.

Once you head upstairs you will see more of the quirky themed tailor decor which lines the walls, such as corsets, sewing patterns, buttons and so much more.

Upstairs is spacious and has a mix of female only and mixed dorms. I stayed in both and both were large and had a locker underneath the bed for valuables.

The bathrooms were clean and spacious too

One of the best features of the hostel is the gorgeous terrace which is large and spacious, perfect when the weather is sunny.

Other than the age limit, as I’m all about a diverse mix of ages who travel and use hostels, of course it’s great to have a choice though, this was a great place to stay, relax and soak up the atmosphere of Barcelona whilst being super central.
