London and the beautiful views
London, a City full to the brim with brilliant things to see, do and explore.
If you are a tourist, local or taking a day trip, there are so many ways to see London from a different perspective, on a budget. As, I've been lucky enough to see the City from some great view points recently, I’m sharing them with you, as sharing is caring after all.

SKY GARDEN
Take a trip to visit Londons highest Garden for free, as long as you book a slot in advance.
It is a beautiful space with greenery and open windows to see out over London and the river Thames. On a clear day the views are tip top and time slot dependent, you can potentially watch the sunset too.
There is a bar and restaurant so you can treat yourself to a presecco if so inclined. Its a great way to spend a few hours.

Located at 20 Fenchurch Street in the Walkie Talkie building with its 896 stairs but don’t worry you don’t have to take the stairs, there is a high speed lift to take you to the 35th floor.
ArcelorMittal Orbit
ArcerlorMittal Orbit, Queen Elizabeth Park, Stratford. It is the Helter Skelter sculpture created by Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond. Its the UK's tallest sculpture with the longest and tallest slide. There is an option to book the slide or viewing platform or both.
I did both as at the time of booking it was on a 50% discount. The slide is a total adrenalin rush, very thrilling and worth doing, at least once. Once you've had the thrill of the slide, there is a viewing platform which comes with fun house style mirrors which distort your size and add to the fun, the views aren't bad either!

The Lookout at 8 Bishopgate
This is such an incredible space with long windows allowing brilliant views of the City below, this building is so high you can actually look down on The Sky Garden.
You can book tickets for free.
Horizon 22
This beauty is located on Level 58 with a viewing platform that offers 300 degree views. It takes 41 seconds to get to the beautiful views as the lift travels at 8 metres per second.
There is a cute cafe at the top so if you fancy a brew while you’re there you can.
